I need the help on choosing the right canvas and technique for the following mix media project.
I'm doing print on canvas, and after that I need to paint with acrylic. I was trying that couple time but acrylic paint peeling off the canvas.
Please help.

When you say 'print on canvas' what do you mean? Is the paint peeling off the print media or is the acrylic paint bonding to the print media and then peeling both off the canvas

Are you printing with oil based inks or oily paints? If the answer is 'yes' then you have the answer to your problem. You should never apply water-based paints over oily surfaces. The other way around is okay - oil over acrylic - most of the time. But compatibility is best achieved using the same formula for all layers.

I'm using Epson 9600 wide printer with UltraChrome Ink.
And I need to apply the acrylic on the top of canvas. But I think the printing canvas is not strong enought to hold the acrylic. May be I have to use any special coating/varnish between the canvas and acrylic?

The ink is oil based, you have to use oils.
