About 20 years ago, I found this painting behind a family portrait. I have never really investigated it. It is about 7' x 9' in size and in excellent shape.

Any ideas of the value or origin? Thanks! http://www.sunmark.com/pictures/painting.jpg

I think someone has been watching too many episodes of The Antique Road Show. It seems unlikely that someone will be able to identify who painted this simply by looking at the image. It's an unfinished fragment. Not of much value, I'm guessing, except as a sort of curiousity.

But I'm glad I got to see it. I love 'found things'.

Unsigned work: just a fragment: It could be water - appears to be painted on a toned surface - If it is not part of the family portrait have it framed.
