As I used to tell my son when he complained about being bored - there's no bored people, only boring people. And as far as I can see, there's only one person here complaining about being bored (the same one who doesn't seem to understand that a USENET newsgroup is not a 'site' .

FWIW, my son grew out of it by the time he was 13.....

I guess it's just pure coincidence that the people you implicated were the ones you attacked? Not by name of course, that would be the non-cowardly route to go. Why don't you get Ralph Mayer's book on mat&tech, that way you wouldn't have to ask if you can use an oil-based varnish on acrylic paintings.

Bore of Bores!

Oh darn! I had to look up Dilettante's post with Google (him/her/it being in my killfile) AND I AM NOT EVEN ON THE LIST!!! RAAAH!

Dewd! Quit being so reasonable and logical, and jump on the dorky little peckerhead once in a while. He cries out for it, he pleads for it, he demands it! In a style to make a discipline master weep for joy, he begs for more even as he moans about the unfairness of it all! How could anyone resist?

All you have to do is point out his logical lapses (which is an exceedingly trivial task, as he supplies them so copiously), and he'll whine about how immature you are, and attack you with his all-too-imitable 'I know you are but what am I' blunted blade.
