Hello all.

I have been painting for several years as a hobby. I have had an enquiry from someone wishing to purchase several paintings from me. These paintings are some of my favorites and I don't really wish to part with them. I asked the person who made the inquiry if they would be interested in a print, and they indicated they would.

Can anyone tell me how to go about getting prints made. Is there a reasonably inexpensive way to do this? How difficult will it be for me to get just a couple of prints made, or will I have to order a large lot.

Thanks in advance for you info.

Look up 'giclee printer' in your yellow pages - compare prices - go to cheapest one. (lol)

They will (1) photograph it, (2) scan it, (3) ask you to make color correction suggestions, and then (4) print how many you want - including one.

This is one way to get a single print. Perhaps others can suggests shortcuts or something entirely different. I can get steps (1) - (4) done for about $130.00 unless I take shortcuts (such as photographic the art myself, scanning the work myself, and/or color correct it myself - I can't print it myself - but ooooneee daaaaaay! [shaking fist]).
