1993 'The Best Of The Group Of Seven' out-of-print Book
I have for sale the out-of-print edition 'The Best Of The Group Of Seven' book by Joan Murray with Essay by Lawren Harris (1993). The edition contains 96 pages of text and full-colour photographs and illustration profiling what is to be considered the best works by the Group Of Seven artists. Chapters include: Ackknowledgements, Seeing The Light: The Group Of Seven And Canadian Art (Joan Murray), The Story Of The Group Of Seven (Lawren Harris), Members Of The Group Of Seven, List Of Illustrations, Selected Bibliography, and Photo Credits. Included are photos of the group as well as Tom Thomson. The back cover features a black and white photograph of the 'Original Members Group Of Seven (Charmichael is missing) at the Arts & Letters Club, Toronto, c. 1920. Left to right: F.H. Varley, A.Y.
