One of the great things about the Internet is that you can run into a whole lot of wonderful stuff without intending to.
Some Such stuff, for me, is the Art of Cable Griffith, which I was unfamiliar with till today.
He is an abstract painter (in a way) with a love of circles, it seems to me. by repeating certain shapes and with interesting color work he creates paintings with unusual depth. After the initial glance at them in which they seem quite chaotic, a scene becomes clear or hinted at, making you want to spend some more time with that particular painting.
Its a bit like looking at a photograph of a land scape that has a lot of perspective to it, and really draws you in, making you want to walk the terrain.
