Hello to all,

I'm Jay, I'm interested in art and art collecting but i have no idea in what to look for. I like to go to garage sales, and see some paintings and like to buy some but have no idea on what to look for. like today i bought my first painting of i think its a water coloured b/w of a 'G. Huser/72' and was wondering for tips for the future purchase

Depends if you're collecting for profit or enjoyment. I just buy things I like. That's the most important. Oh, and check your home contents insurance too.

buy what you can afford. buy what you love.

you don't need anyone's help.

if you want to buy for investment, you probably couldn't afford it.
