Moi?

All I did was respond to a page, the purpose of which seemed to be to ridicule another painter.

I tried but it came up 'Invalid HTTP Request' which often happens with my machine (I don't know why). So I can't take off the wrapper. What's in the present?

Really?

I tried a week or so ago and it came up invalid.

Gotta get a new machine.

Bunkamura was a pretty long time ago. 1992 I believe. All that work was done a year or two prior.

You do need to upgrade your computer (or your browser software). Frank Sinatra went to a lot of trouble to make his (her) point - it's hilarious, unfortunately at your expense.

Great work, Frank. What kind of software did you use?

I'm flattered that you took the time. You seem to have a lot of it.

I have no idea what you mean by 'to be modern' but I paint for me.

Those paintings were for a book I made for a show in Tokyo. The theme was East/West relations. There was text in the book, which also hung beneath the paintings in the show. If you pay for the postage I'll be glad to send you a copy if you'd like. 30 color images.

I look forward to seeing your own work.

Frank obviously likes to fool around with software. I'd imagine this is very time consuming... I'd also assume he doesn't actually *do* any of his own art. Sounds like he is petty and jealous to me. His stuff is technically interesting but presented in a manner interesting only to 12-14 year old boys.

People also have *signatures* which usually reveal the stylistic tendencies of their writing. For example, I write 'hee, hee' - Frank writes 'he,he'. I've seen it before. Frank is an old regular to raf (Frank isn't his name, of course). Also, Frank is male, not female.

But who really cares? Has anyone made any art this year? Kay

Yeah, it's probably time consuming. But what delightful perversity, right? Spending all that time to make an insignificant point. The only redeeming thing about it is humor, me thinks. And yes, Tim, or especially his artwork, was the brunt of th joke.

But Kay, why isn't the joke itself a 'work of art?' The whole project obviously proceeded from a point of initial inspiration, moved on to the production, and finalized in an 'object de art.'

It made me think it was Paul for a moment. I write 'he hee heehe' sort of. Somehow it's important to me not to be completely symetrical with perverse chuckles.

I have, remember? Two prismacolor drawings. Oh, do you mean the year 2000?

Hey, it's actually hot and muggy here. Howzzit over your way?
