Recreating Photos.

It seems as if there is a whole trend (I guess it could be called that) of recreating famous photographs in different media.
My first reaction to this, when I read about it in Leslie’s blog was - what is the point, but after thought little thought I can see the intrigue of participating in a project like this - the need to examine the original carefully and at the same time examine our feelings in the light of what we see.
A reproduction like this would obviously involve personal interpretation giving the new piece an even more interesting angle.
