Request: Info on this artist - Hofmann jpg.

Hi all, I have an old etching of an old man. It is in an old frame which has wavy bubbled glass (which is why I think its old). The artist signed it. I'm pretty sure the last name is Hofmann, but the first name is harder to read. I think what looks like a U is actually an O... Otto?

If anybody has any information about this artist (or the etching) I'd love to hear from them.
