I am pleased to inform this newsgroup that I am still painting and have not abandoned the one I started! I am taking a deep bow as I am sure you are applauding me?! I am trying to start using the word: s t u d i o Why? Because I am afraid of the word, I think I should use it and see if I will shrivel up and die because of it. Studio! I mean, that's all I do there. Paint. I guess I could call it my Painting Place?!

I lost a brand new paint brush in my painting place (er, studio). I was dumbfounded. How does anyone lose a big brush? I just went out and bought 2 more. I've decided that I am worth more than my really really old brushes. I used to use my hands most of the time, but there is no harm in using good materials too. I'm beginning to think I'm worth it and so is my work.

So there you have it. I haven't run away. And I haven't given up just because a paint brush decided to go A-wall.

Always someone around to spoil kid's fun! Finger paints are USUALLY non-toxic since they're made for use by kids...

I use acrylic, but like I said, I've moved to the fine art of using brushes. New ones! Not that I'm planning on throwing out any of my old brushes.
