okay. i don't have a studio where i can cut/set up anything. what's the best way to stretch canvas at home? i never really did it before, but of course i've seen it done. so i have an idea of how to do it, but is there anything in particular i need to know?

Have you ever done a web search? Try it, you'll like what you find on the web, including NUMEROUS sites with instructions for stretching canvas. Here is but the first one that popped up when I did a search on the words 'how to stretch canvas' on GOOGLE:

If you do not need canvase of PARTICULAR sizes (or some fancy materials) - just GO and BUY prestretched canvas...
No fuss, no muss - no time wasted....

yes i know that. and i asked bc i DO need something of a particular size. and stretcher strips don't come in10 by 10 feet...at least not here.
and a lot of website sources explain how to stretch canvas USING stretcher strips.
but that's alright. i found someone here that i could pay to do it for me.
