The horse in that time is mostly a symbol of pride, especially in Europe. A white horse can have a different meaning: symbol for a king, for resurrection or the church.

Have a nice evening.

Horse manure? Imbibing it can produce some pretty 'mad' dreams, I suspect. And the gullible in this forum imbibe it all the time. It's even got a label - Mani's Manure.

says...

In the USA, we know of Chief Crazy Horse, who was one of the seminal figures in western USA history. He got his name from having a horse that was as fearless in battle as he was. That was when he was but a youth. Those early battles were with other Indian tribes. Later he became a 'general' fighting the white invaders after uniting several of the tribes that had formerly warred only with each other.

Have you Canucks ever heard of Deborah Butterfield?

Don't be mislead by the bronze life-size horses of hers. They originated as 'found objects' she assembled into the horse representations that were later cast in bronze, thereby replicating the found objects in multiples for whatever series the bronzes are cast in. I personally like the originals best - the ones that are actually of found materials.

Actually, it's prepubescent girls that love horses. Once they start maturing their attention turns to human boys.
