The Florence International Biennale of Contemporary Art

Please can you indicate to me if you know this Biennale and if there is a real impact and a gain artists who participed.?

Do you perhaps mean the Venice Biennale?

I suppose Florence could host one too, but I'm unfamiliar with it. Any artist would be so lucky to be chosen for the one in Venice!

Oh, wow! I've also been selected to participate, based on the wonderfulness of my website... for anyone interested, I've copied the info at the end of this message for those curious.

Now... I went to the web site, quite well done, and found images of paintings which won awards in past exhibitions. I was surprised to recognize a number of artists (USA) of quality standing... not your flash in the pan, conceptive types, but good solid painters. If I was to consider entering (maybe a few years back) I would contact some of these artists (several have their own web sites with links) introduce yourself and ask of their exerience with the exhibition. Costs involved, quality of exhibition space, did they attend, were they pleased, would they do it again. If it is a legitimately recognized venue, it would look good on your resume. You have to be the one to decide if it is worth your effort and expense.
