Can anyone point me in the direction where I might obtain some information about this particular artist. Despite a considerable search via the web I have been unable to locate any info, even though I have found two pieces of his work.

I would be grateful if anyone could either provide some information about this particular artist or point me in the direction where I might obtain some information about him.

There is lots of paintings for sale. I found little biography though. I found he was born in Edinburgh in 1875 and died at the age of 60 in 1935. He lived also lived in Liverpool, before his final resting place in Newcastle. He painted mainly watercolours, of Scotland, The Wirral, North Wales and Northumbria.

I have one of his entitled "The Duet" which is a watercolour of gulls on a beach. I really like it and it has a pride of place in my house.
