Two questions about working with pastel- How do you use the blending tools? when I use them, they don't really blend, but remove.
Also, How do you get hard lines?

To make hard lines sharpen your chalk to a point on a piece of sand paper. You can use other mediums (I use pencils) to make the hard lines. As for blending, I found my fingers the most effective blender. Do you smudge too?
