Warrior God request

Too often in pictures of God, He is pictured as this gentle almost wimpy guy. Certainly God is loving, but what I'd like to see is the warrior side of Him. Something like in Revelation when He comes down from Heaven with a sword, riding His white horse. It doesn't have to be that exactly, but I think you know what I mean.

In our (Western, Euro-American) culture, with it's Greco-Roman style government and symbolism, the symbol for justice is a blindfolded woman holding a set of scales. This is a fitting symbol, especially for the American system, as it has no religious connotations, really, just the faith in a concept known as 'rule of law.'

In the ancient world when the manuscripts to which you refer were written, the symbol for justice was a sword, with its double edge that can fall or swing either way. Peace & justice, not peace & war.

Because the rider on the horse is Jesus and Jesus is clearly a MAN!!!

Seeing as how you have never met Jesus, you cannot say whether the person with that name is male or female. I suspect he's a woman wearing a fake beard. Or possibly a hermaphrodite.

Every Jesus I know is male. Therefore, I make the leap and assume that the original Jesus with a hard 'J' was male, as well. Although, perhaps he was female, and embarrassed because of all the fuss that had been made over the whole Son of God thing, Mary and Joseph raised her in as a boy?

I hate it when that happens. Really. Sometimes I can dream lucidly and send myself back to sleep, and pick up where I left off, or re-do the parts I didn't like. Did you try that? You might have been Chosen as a messenger; we're all waiting for the message, now, dammit.

I'm a big fan of lucid dreams, however I haven't done the trick you describe. What I usually do is summon interesting people into my dreams. I've talked to Odin (Norse God) and Loki (Norse 'Devil' and Van Gogh. Archetypes are fun to play with.

It would explain a lot.

On another point - have you ever thought of turning your dreams into comic novels? Merging your graphic style and your dreams might prove interesting .

The blindfolded woman with the scales indicates the probability that the separation between lies and truth - the basis of judgement - is not absolute. That is true of all judicial systems not just American.

The double edge sword has a similar meaning - you can never be absolutely sure that you are killing the right person. (friendly fire)

Dunno. The whole dream, I think, was based on a comment a friend of mine made. He suggested that North Americans can't keep consuming natural resources the way they do. It has to stop sometime, but most people are doing their best to ignore all the warning signs. As my friend put it, 'They don't want the party to be over.'

For that reason, a biker gang forced to ride bicycles due to a lack of fuel makes sense. Especially since the police show up and kill some of them, forcing them to give up. What did they do wrong? I don't know
