What is your approach to signing your paintings as far as keeping the signature to a certain place on each canvas. or making it look integral with the picture? Also, how do you do it? I can't seem to get mine to look like a signature - it always looks like a 7 year old's squiggle.

For me I prefer the informative approach- to sign my name and the date small and clear so it wouldn't disturb the painting, and I think that's why you don't need to care about how nice it looks. But on the other hand I really love the approach that some of the Art Nouveau artists had (klimt, Beardsley) of making up their own small logo.
